These are some of the best personal growth development books I’ve got on my bookshelf.
I recommend them to you!
This is how I decide what books to include on this page:
- I’ve personally read the books and recommend them.
- I would recommend it even if I was not an *affiliate.

I’ve been using this book both for myself and my clients for years.
I appreciate cognitive behavior therapy because it fits with my Christian world view, but can also be used effectively by those who aren’t Christians.
The treatment planning section at the very beginning of the workbook will help you pick out your most important “problem”.
Then it will help you decide which chapters to work through first.
It’s a great resource to help you practice “therapy” in between sessions. And you’ll be learning new coping/living skills along the way.
